What nci.foundation collects, where it goes, and what it does not collect.

What we collect

The contact form asks for your name, email address, affiliation, role and message, and our server records the IP address and browser type the message came from. We use them only to reply to you, to continue the conversation you started, and to keep out abuse.

Where it goes

Messages are kept on a server we operate for 30 days and forwarded to our inbox through Resend, an email delivery service. We do not sell them, and we do not share them with anyone else.

What we don’t collect

The site sets no cookies and runs no analytics, advertising or tracking scripts.

Server logs

Like most websites, our web server records each request: the page, the time, the browser type and the IP address. We use these records to keep the site running and to count readers in aggregate. The IP addresses do not leave the server, and the records are deleted after about 90 days.

Other services

The site’s fonts load from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address when your browser requests them. Links to Zenodo, doi.org and ORCID take you to sites with their own privacy policies.

Your choices

To see, correct or delete a message you sent us, write to us and tell us which message.
